Beth Hermes
Beth Hermes has spent her lifetime enamored with words and horses – words came first simply because it is easier to find proper writing implements than the perfect equine companion.
With a B.A. in Journalism from Auburn University, Beth's career includes newspaper staff writer, magazine contributing writer and public relations director for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. In 2008, she added entrepreneur to her job titles, as a freelance writer with eIRIS Marketing.
Beth teaches Creative Writing to adults at an indie bookstore and at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, and at other venues whenever she the opportunity arises. Beth writes fiction in her spare time, and released the second novel in The Lighbearers series (Spiritual Fantasy genre) in February 2013; she is currently at work on the third.
Her horse, whom she lost in January, 2012, is the subject of a forthcoming memoir.
